Scandinavian Clarity for new Perspectives

Psychotherapy for privately insured & self-paying clients

Munich Schwabing

There are many reasons to start psychotherapy.
Perhaps you are in a crisis, feel exhausted or internally stuck. Maybe you want to understand yourself better, change old patterns or bring more vitality and clarity into your life.

Psychotherapy can support you in getting back in touch with yourself – with what moves you, what hinders you and with what supports you.

English & German impressions of my work

How I work

You come with a concern. Something is bothering you, robbing you of energy or not letting you rest. We talk about it – and I listen very carefully. Through targeted, mindful questions, clarity emerges step by step about your topic and what you really need.

Our work is conversation-based, present and focused on the here and now.
You determine at any time what you want to work with and in what depth. Your boundaries, values and pace have top priority.

Often more orientation becomes apparent in the first sessions:

  • What is essential at the moment?
  • What needs or desires are behind it?
  • What is stopping you from following them?

From there, we develop concrete next steps together.

More than just talking

Even if the conversation is the focus, our work is not about endless analysis.
We work in a concentrated and clear manner – so that things really move.

With me, it doesn’t stop at words. Our conversations are designed to understand inner processes, dissolve stuck patterns and enable new experiences that become noticeable in your everyday life.

Therapy in the Here & Now

My therapeutic approach is strongly present-oriented. That means:
We start directly with what is occupying you today – without having to go through your entire life story.

This form of work is particularly effective for:

  • Exhaustion and burnout
  • depressive phases
  • inner conflicts and decision-making situations
  • Life crises and reorientation
  • Relationship problems
  • Anxieties

My therapeutic basis

My work is characterized by decades of therapeutic experience, which I now also pass on to colleagues.

I work primarily with a conversation-based, experience-oriented form of therapy, which is known in the professional world as Gestalt therapy. This has nothing to do with art or painting. Decisive in this method are: presence, awareness, here and now, personal responsibility and a respectful contact at eye level.

In addition, elements from other therapeutic approaches are incorporated – depending on the situation – including mindfulness, self-compassion, systemic therapy, communication and behavioral therapy. The methods always serve you and the process – not the other way around.

What my psychotherapy can offer you

  • a protected space for honest self-encounter
  • Clarity in difficult inner or outer situations
  • Support for change and development
  • a pragmatic, human and at the same time profound accompaniment

I noticed the first positive results from this therapy after a few weeks, and since then my life has changed.
