It is often helpful to talk about worries, questions and conflicts with an external, neutral person \u2013 someone who listens, takes them seriously and provides guidance. <\/p><p>I have had a very good connection with my young clients for many years. That&#8217;s why in my work I <strong>individually address the respective personality<\/strong>, age and current life situation. <\/p><p>The basis of our cooperation is <b>trust<\/b>. Only when young people feel safe and taken seriously can they speak openly about what moves them. Together we discover <strong>abilities, inner resources and new perspectives.<\/strong> Often it is about a change of perspective \u2013 away from the question <i>&#8220;How do others see me?&#8221;<\/i> to <i>&#8220;What do I want and need myself?&#8221;<\/i> This is a very essential exercise for the whole life. <i><\/i><\/p><p>The younger the clients are, the more playful my approach is. With children, I work \u2013 if it makes sense \u2013 with creative and playful elements such as painting, figures, books, instruments or games. The aim is always to support the child or adolescent in the best possible way. <\/p><p>The work with adolescents is subject to \u2013 as with all my clients \u2013 <b>strict confidentiality<\/b>. Ms. Svensson and I met for the first time to discuss the agreement for future meetings with my son. She very quickly succeeded in building trust through play therapy, but also through her friendly and trustworthy manner. It was great to see how my son gradually opened up in the weeks of conversations. We as parents felt that it was important for him to be able to confide in an adult outside the family. The conversation helped my son to reflect on himself and the school situation in a de-dramatized way. We were able to follow up on what Lisa talked about in the conversations in our conversations at home. Ms. Svensson was also in contact with the school so that all parties could support my son in the right way. With her very calm, friendly and empathetic manner, she helped to get the anxiety under control. Our daughter was very happy to accept the coaching with Lisa and was able to implement many tips and assistance.
